We finally got our match! Little miss frowny face. Her orphanage papers say “Nan Fu Xiang” was born June 2, 2005. She’s 22 pounds and 30 inches tall (right in the middle between 12 month and 18 month sizes). She has 12 teeth.

In China, all orphans are given a surname based on the year they were born, so Nan just means she was born in 2005. Xiang is another word for Hunan province in south central China where she was born. Fu means “good fortune” – which she really is to us.

Our agency says that we’ll leave for China in 5 to 8 weeks…
