]]> http://broomell.com/377/feed/ 0 Gallopalooza 2009 http://broomell.com/gallopalooza-2009/ http://broomell.com/gallopalooza-2009/#comments Sat, 11 Apr 2009 23:29:38 +0000 Russ http://broomell.com/?p=322 Continue reading →]]> HorseKentucky is pretty much the horse capitol of the planet, and lots of things have grown up around the Kentucky Derby and horse racing in general.  One of those things is Gallopalooza which is an ongoing event where artists paint (and otherwise adorn) statues of horses all around town.  For 2009, they are adding 132 more statues to the program and they will be displayed all around town.  The kids had fun getting their faces painted and doing the horse scavenger hunt, while Mommy and Daddy loved looking at all of the different artwork on display.
