The Fire Department sponsored a 5K Run / Walk for charity. We talked all of the kids into doing it with us. Joshua started out fast and did very well all the way through. Jordan started quickly but slowed down to help his nieces. He and Stephanie finished together and were laughing at the end too. There were all sorts of prizes given away. Ashley won a putter and gave it to her Papi. It was great fun and we’re talking about doing it again next year.
We had our granddaughters out to visit for the holidays and it was grand. Plenty of children running around opening presents. A crazy time!
We went to see Santa today after a week of “I want to see Santa” and only Sarah was brave enough to actually go up to the big bearded guy. She asked for a farm and lots of animals. (click to enlarge the picture)
Joshua’s birthday involved some go-kart fun. He’s finally tall enough to drive on his own and the boys and their friends loved racing around the longest track in America. Even Daddy and Sarah got into the act, showing the boys how to really drive, as Sarah yelled “faster, faster”.
