Adoption Picnic
Posted on May 31st, 2009 No commentsEvery year for the past few years, we go to the annual Adoption Assistance picnic. They are the agency that helped us with both adoptions, and we love to go there and talk to the friends we have made at the agency and among the adoptive families. Julie and her staff are more like family at this point.
The children had great fun as usual, riding the ponies, bouncing in the inflatable and getting their faces painted. Can’t wait till next year!

Baseball Season
Posted on May 15th, 2009 No commentsThe boys are playing baseball this year – the first time for both of them. Joshua is more naturally athletic and is hitting everything in machine pitch. Jordan is learning about the goofy pitching in the first year of kids pitching and is getting on base one way or the other every game. Daddy’s learning about sunburn during the day games and bug bites in the evenings.

BMX
Posted on May 10th, 2009 No commentsThe boys went out to the local BMX track today. They were a little upset at first because there was an actual race there, but after a while, they enjoyed watching the “pros” take the jumps and do tricks. Once the race was over, the boys got to ride the track on their own – but didn’t jump quite as high as the older guys had done. Lots of fun!
